We have stayed at the Riu Caribe 2 times now. The 1st being was when it was the Gran Caribe and the next when is was Riu Caribe. The wait staff and housekeeping staff are as friendly and efficient as ever. They can't seem to do enough for you. The entertainment staff is pretty good during the day, they get you going with activities and music. Some people would just like to sit and relax by the pool but at times it's a bit noisy. We liked the addition of the Asian restaurant, the steak house was moved outside by the pool now you can sit with a nice breeze while your having dinner. We liked both inside restaurants Gonzolo was my favorite, it was amazing place to eat! Please ... tip the wait staff well. They work very hard trying to make your stay wonderful. We will return to the Riu at some time, but will try Riu Yucatan in the Mayan next. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
