This was our 3rd time at Riu Bachata My wife and I with our 2 kids we had a fantastic vacation. We have been to the D.R 4 times and I have to say the RIU has the best location of them all. We had an amazing view from our room, you have the mountains on one side and the ocean view on the next. There is excellent walking & jogging trails. The landscaping is lush with many of the tropical plants & trees and many coconut palm trees. Beach: The Beach was gorgoeus, soft sand, clear water, it was heaven. The water was so warm and clear The staff: The hotel staff is top notch always ready to please you. The food is good with something for everyone. Rooms are spacious with free in room safe (other places charge up to $25.00US. Entertainment: We all enjoyed the shows the dancers are fantastic this is by far the best entertainment I have seen in a an all inclusive resort and I have been to a few! Food: The food was always fresh, fruit was plentyful. there were themed nights twice a week. There was also a wide variety of drinks, I loved the local rum drinks. Pool: My favourite part was definately the pool area, there were two large pools and a pool bar. It was so nice just to sit around there for a relaxing day, to either top up the tan under the sun or even to sit under the shade to enjoy the scenery. Or even just to have drinks around the pool bar, it was so relaxing. Wish I could have stayed longer. The resort was everything I was looking for and more. We can't wait to come back again next year! :D :D :D :D :D
