Went to Almond Beach - for 1 week - myself and partner and 8 year old daughter - we read all the reviews before etc - decided to see for ourselves. Loved it - decent flight on the way over - 1 hour minibus transfer - easy check in - handed a rum punch and a cold towel and a room upgrade as well! The Almond Beach Village is spread out over roughly 1 mile of beach - it does have an Adults and Child section - and this really does work. You can do loads of activities included in the All Inclusive Package - or none if you don't want to -- just pull up a sunlounger and chill! The staff are really good - maybe they could do with name badges so you could interact with them a bit more - but lovley all the same. Food - glorious food - well cooked, presented in 4 restaurants - it's and early to bed and early get up holiday - and you'll have a great time if you just relax, chill, get into their way of life. It is a very good 4 star - not dripping with luxury touches - but very clean, they are always tending the gardens - cleaning the public areas, pools, beach. Booking the restaurants is very easy - the business centre useful - and the watersports (banana rides, speed boat and reef fishing) lot' s of fun. Jump onthe (yellow) Reggae Bus to Holetown - loads of fun - finally - the kid's clubs are brilliant - our 8 year old met friends round the pool - arranged to meet them at tea- time - so we could have a meal on our own knowing she would be well looked after - kid's club shut's at 10pm - we didn't go for this but it worked perfectly. Befour you spend your hard earned cash give Carlos a call at Online Travel Centre he will save you a bundle. I'm very happy to reccomend the Almond Beach Village, well worth every penny spent!!
